Thanks for getting to know all about us! We are Murray and Molly, an adventurous Thai/Canadian couple living and travelling in Asia together.
We enjoy discovering new places for their natural beauty, unique foods, and thriving market places. We really enjoy to document our travels and share them here on TravelPecks.com for others to benefit from any unique and specific knowledge we can provide. We have been the benefactor of so much good information via free travel blogs and we wanted to give some back in return.
Molly is our expert shopper! She can take in a new city like no one else I’ve ever seen. She really enjoys the feeling of a busy street market and being inspired by new fashions and ingredients she discovers as we explore the streets. She could probably meander for the whole day through the sights and smells of bustling markets, modern shopping centers, and local craft shops. When it comes to food her Thai background lends her a very critical pallet. She enjoys trying everything she can sink her teeth into and is always looking for that right combination of spicy, sour, sweet and salty that she is so used to, being raised eating the complex flavor combinations of her native Thai cuisine.

Murray is your typical Canadian outdoors addict. Sweeping vistas, local wildlife, and interesting new ecosystems is what pushes him down the road less traveled. Hopping on a rented motorbike and exploring places others might overlook is what puts a big smile on his face. This of course goes hand in hand with a bit of adrenaline and adventure seeking. He is always seeking really adventurous activities to explore the beauty and splendor of a destination’s flora, fauna and natural terrain. A bit of a chatterbox he is always talking with anyone and everyone he meets and seeking out advice for cool spots to snorkel, zip-line, dive, swim, hike, climb or just sit with some cold beer and watch the sunset.

Together we embark on a destination with these two angles of interest and enjoy sharing in the experiences of each other’s approach to it. We grow together as a couple while discovering what makes the world such a magical place for each other.
Our travel is sustained by teaching English in our home base of Busan, South Korea and we have recently started consuming mass amounts of information, learning new software, and developing skills aimed at generating a passive income stream online so we can move into our travel full-time as true “Digital-Nomads”. A portion of this site is dedicated to that pursuit as we have found it to be such a great way to be able to grant ourselves the freedom and modest income needed to keep our exploration of this glorious planet’s nature and people going in perpetuity.
